Why I left the Office “Local Installation Source” on the drive for missing “SKU017.CAB”

Another annoying experience with Outlook 2003. When working with FrontPage or Word, a dialog window sometimes appears asking for the installation CD, or more precisely, the file “SKU017.CAB.”If you try to cancel the operation or insert the installation CD into the drive, nothing happens. So what should you do? At the end of the Office installation process, you are given the option to delete the Local Installation Source. Do not delete it. But if you already did, download the tool LISTool.exe from

Run LISTool.exe and select “Enabling the local installation source.” That’s all.
